Authentic reproduction of earlier, sacred pipes that were elaborately carved and decorated. Ceremonial use of tobacco by Native Americans was and still is widespread, and the pipe plays a very important, integral part. Made of Catalinite which is a Red pipestone found in South Dakota and the Uinta Mountains in Utah & Colorado. These pipe stems are expertly handcrafted by a fifth generation Oglala Sioux Pipe maker using traditional methods. Each pipe is polished to a soft luster and treated with beeswax for protection.
This pipe head measures 5 1/2" long and includes a fitted wooden stem for an overall measurement of 24" long.
Please message for availability since we sell these pipes in other places.
